How to download the SavingBlocks app (Beta)?

You can get your hands on the Beta version of the SavingBlocks app before it comes out officially on the app store. As the process is different depending on which phone your are using, we created this guide to make it easy for you to get to download the Beta whether you're using an iPhone or an Android phone. Follow the instructions below to get started and build your crypto portfolio today.

Download the SavingBlocks app (iOS guide)

If you're using an iPhone, you need to download the TestFlight app first before you can install the SavingBlocks app on your device. TestFlight is a free solution provided by Apple to test an iOS app before it is released on the App Store

1. Download the TestFlight app from the App Store on your iPhone
2. Tap this invite link from your iPhone
3. You will be redirected to the Testflight app where you can download the SavingBlocks app

After successfully downloading, the app will appear on your iPhone's springboard (marked with an orange bullet), and also in the TestFlight app.

Download the SavingBlocks app (Android guide)

You can download the SavingBlocks app if you're using a phone running Android operating system by clicking this invite link to get early access and download it from the Google Play Store.

If you cannot access the app directly by clicking the invite link above, you can follow the instructions below:

1. Tap this link from your Android device
2. Scroll down and click Get setup or Sign in with Google‍
3. Check the consent box and accept the invitation
4. A pop-up message will ask you to download Firebase App Tester. Click DOWNLOAD
5. You may receive an alert that the app you are trying to download can harm your device. Don’t worry, everything is safe. Click OK
6. A pop-up message will notify you that the download has started. Swipe down from the top of the screen to see your download status.
7. Once the download is complete, click the .apk file
8. A pop-up message will ask you to install App Tester. Click INSTALL
9. Once the app is installed, click OPEN
10. Sign in to App Tester with your Google account
11. In the main screen, you will see the SavingBlocks app. Select it. Then, click DOWNLOAD
12. You may receive an alert that your device is not allowed to install unknown apps. Click SETTINGS and then check Allow from this source. Then, click the back arrow.
13. You will now install the SavingBlocks app (Beta). Click INSTALL.
14. Once the app is installed, click OPEN. You are now good to go!

NB: Please note the Android app Beta is currently only available to customers in the UK & France, meaning your Google Play Store settings need to be set to the United Kingdom or France to be able to access the SavingBlocks app.

Testing Instructions

You should now be able to download the Beta to the SavingBlocks app and test it on your phone.
